NVCian aspiring candidates sets the courage up high as their participation goes remarkable during the Candidates’ Orientation for the upcoming Departmental Election 2024. This was held in the Function Hall 4th flr, ASQ building commenced at around 2:00PM.

A remarkable orientation with the presence of the esteemed guest speakers NVC President Allan Angelo L. Quimpo, Mr. Bryan Solano former SSC NVC President 2022, JJC NVC President 2012 and JCI Aklan Kalantiao President 2020 and OSA Specialist, former SSC NVC President and JCI Aklan Kalantiao EVP. 2024 Mr. Genesis Angelo Tan. Their valuable insights shaped the aspirants mind to be courageous and capable enough to meet their true self in leadership. They tackled some of the valuable basic strategies to become a leader; leadership as a self-improvement, inculcate emotional maturity, learn to have power to defend decisions. The roles and structures, benefits and other valuable context that connects the power if leadership.

Leadership is commonly known as stressful responsibility yet they filled the venue with fierce, motivated, and credible faces of the true leaders. Laughters and fun also existed as they’re grouped to unfamiliar co-candidates, cooperated for an activity, and participated with so much eagerness to win in every situation where every voices matter and heard.

“You all are the key to the best student experience. Leadership is experience. Leadership is sacrifice.”-Mr. Quimpo genuinely said.

“The highlight of yesterday’s event was us, student leaders, that orientation goes far beyond the four corners of the room. We were in a journey of growth, progress, development, and reform. Most importantly, I have learned that leadership cannot be taught but rather experience.” Louis Candari said, one of the aspiring candidate.

To sum it up, the event was indeed successful to joined by every individuals who were born to be leaders with credibility not just by responsibility.
