In commemoration of Aklan’s 68th founding anniversary, the Aklan Provincial Office, in collaboration with several provincial entities, treated Aklanons to an unforgettable Ben&Ben concert. The event, dubbed #AkeanonNight, unfolded at the Aklan Sports Complex in Makato, Aklan, on April 20, 2024.
Aklanon hearts were enthralled as the ethereal performance unfolded, with Ben&Ben’s beloved tunes captivating every soul in attendance. “Liwanag’s” of Aklan found themselves spellbound by the melodies, expressing immense gratitude towards Governor for fulfilling the heartfelt desire of Aklanon youth. “Gapasaeamat gid kami it abo kay Gov. dahil he really granted the wish of aklanon youth,” remarked one ecstatic fan during an interview. Attendees flocked not only from Aklan but also from neighboring provinces such as Antique and Capiz, adding to the jubilant atmosphere.
Remarkably, the event transpired without any recorded incidents, leaving participants with memories to cherish, echoing the sentiment, “Pipiliin ka sa araw-araw” (You’ll be chosen every day).
