With over 700 participants from different parts of Panay Islands and across the Philippines, Knezza A. Reprado, a 2nd-year Criminology student, snatched the gold medal at the Capiztahan Invitational National Arnis Tournament held at Robinsons Place-Roxas in Pueblo de Panay, Lawa-an, Roxas City, on April 27-28, 2024.
According to Reprado, she experienced rigorous practice even at night, but she was able to overcome it as she knows how to manage her time despite all the struggles she encountered.
“I always believe that if there is a problem, there is a solution,” she stands.
As it was her first time joining a national competition, Reprado experienced nervousness, but it didn’t make her lose hope of winning the competition.
“Despite being nervous, I was able to do it because of the help of my family, for their moral and financial support, my Coach, Grand Master Alejandro P. Arca, Jr., who developed my discipline, for sharing his skills, and for his encouraging motivation,” said Reprado.
Reprado’s dedication and commitment are a testament to inspire more athletes to pursue their dreams.
