𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦 𝗦𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗣 𝗧𝗢𝗣 𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗧𝗦 𝗜𝗡 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥-𝗗𝗘𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡
In a display of journalistic skill and prowess, student reporters from various departments gathered at the ASQ Building’s 4th floor for Inter-Department News Casting Competition, themed “Voice of the Youth”. With a total of 18 participants, the competition served as a platform for these aspiring journalists to showcase their ability to gather the latest information and present it in a compelling news format.
Under the scrutiny of esteemed judges from the field of journalism, including Darwin Tapayan, Teresa Iguid, and Arlyn Joy Rapiz-Mendoza, contestants demonstrated their skills in delivering news.
After a rigorous evaluation process, three contestants emerged as the victors. Mary Luz Rufon from BACOMM 4A claimed the top spot, securing 1st Place with her exceptional presentation skills. Christian John Dela Cruz from BACOMM 4A followed closely behind, earning 2nd Place for his insightful reporting. Cedrick V. Cusay from BACOMM 3A rounded up the winners, clinching the 3rd Place with his compelling news delivery.
The competition not only highlighted the talent and dedication of these young reporters but also underscored the importance of providing accurate and informative news coverage. Congratulations to all the participants for their outstanding performances!
