NVC TOURISM STUDENTS SHOWCASE EXPERTISE IN KALIBO TO NEW WASHINGTON TOUR
The second-year Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management students at Northwestern Visayan Colleges showcased their skills during the annual Kalibo to New Washington tour. As part of their curriculum, the students explored NVC Carmen, Kalibo Museum, XIX Martyrs, Bakhawan Eco Park, Pink Sisters, Cardinal Sin Shrine, and Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Church.
The tour not only exposed students to the region’s cultural and historical richness but also provided hands-on experience in tour management. From understanding the operations at NVC Carmen to embracing sustainable practices at Bakhawan Eco Park, the students demonstrated their readiness for dynamic careers in the competitive tourism industry.
This immersive experience aligns with the college’s commitment to providing a comprehensive education that prepares students for success beyond the classroom, emphasizing practical skills crucial in the evolving field of tourism.
