𝗡𝗩𝗖𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗛𝗠𝗘𝗡 𝗕𝗘𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗜𝗥 𝗝𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗡𝗘𝗬 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗛 𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗟 𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

On August 7, 2026, the CSQ Gymnasium is filled with new faces as the NVC community grows with newly enrolled students to officially embarked on their college journey as the institution held its “NVC Freshmen Welcome Fest” with the theme, “Your Future Begins Today,” aimed at introducing freshmen to the campus community, its leaders, and the services that will support them throughout their academic life.

The whole-day program began with the Entrance of Colors and Preliminaries, featuring the entrance of the school colors and the Philippine flag by the NVC ROTC Unit. This was followed by a welcome message from Dr. Vicente S. Quimpo, a member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors, who greeted the freshmen and encouraged them to embrace the opportunities and challenges of college life.

Adding excitement and jazz to the opening program was a special intermission number performed by John Yuri Fulgencio, the NVC Got Talent 2026 Grand Winner.

Freshmen also heard an inspirational message from Dr. Raymundo R. Quimpo, Head of Institution, who highlighted the importance of academic excellence, personal growth, and responsible leadership as students begin a new chapter in their education.

To familiarize students with the institution’s leadership, members of the Executive Committee, Board of Directors, office heads, academic deans, program heads, and coordinators were formally introduced. The program also featured the official institutional and departmental school uniform modeling, allowing students to become acquainted with the official uniforms.

In the afternoon session, the orientation continued with a series of informative presentations from key offices across the institution. Representatives and heads of Office of the Registrar, College Library, General Administration and Facilities (GAF), and the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) discussed their respective services, institutional policies, and student guidelines. These orientation provided freshmen with essential information regarding enrollment procedures, library resources, campus facilities, student services, and the rules and responsibilities expected of every NVCian.

The event concluded with a closing message from Mr. John Joseph C. Quimpo, Head of the Gender and Development Office, who encouraged students to become responsible, respectful, and active members of the academic community.

Through the Freshmen Welcome Fest, NVC reaffirmed its commitment to helping new students to step into college by equipping them with knowledge, guidance, and support needed to thrive in their academic journey. As its theme suggests, the institution hopes every freshman leaves the program ready to begin a future filled with purpose, learning, and opportunity.
