Awarded as second runner up in the contemporary dance, the NVC’s Ethereal Motion Dance group and some of its members showcased their talents and expertise on different competition categories in the recently concluded USSCA FEST on December 29,2024 held at Corazon L. Cabagnot Tourism and Training Center with the theme: “Uniting hearts, solidifying bonds”.

Competing with six participating schools across the town, the group brought home the victory with pride and emphasized that their win is unexpected.

“Hindi Namin inexpect na manalo dahil maraming magagaling galing ibang schools at mahirap sila kalabanin”,Viray stated on behalf of the team.

They have mentioned that it is their first time joining a competition outside the school institution and is thankful to be proclaimed as winners.

“First time naming mag compete with other schools then nung tinawag yung name ng school, sobrang saya talaga namin”,they stated.

It is remembered that the group had emerged as a champion in the contemporary dance contest during school intramurals for three years straight.

Prior to their victory, they dedicated it to the school, their trainer Kem Robel Delacrus and to Jay Lawrence Fernando who had both supported them in their contest participation.
