NVCIAN PHOTOGRAPHER AWARDED 1ST RUNNER-UP AT USSCA PHOTO CONTENTS
In a stunning debut, Mayolo Zonio, a BCAEd 3 student, was awarded 1st Runner-Up at the USSCA Photo Contest during the USSCA Fest, held on December 29, 2024, at the Corazon L. Cabagnot Tourism and Training Center. The event, with the theme “Uniting Hearts, Solidifying Bonds,” marked a milestone in Zonio’s photography journey.
Zonio, who has always had a deep passion for photography, was overjoyed by the recognition. “Winning this award, especially as it was my first time joining the event, has brought me immense pride and joy,” he shared.
While initially unaware of the contest, Zonio was encouraged by his friend Jay to participate, ultimately using the opportunity to showcase his creativity. “I was inspired because I love photography, and this was a great chance to showcase my creativity on a broader platform,” he explained.
Grateful for the unwavering support from his family, friends, and mentor, Zonio expressed his appreciation: “I would like to thank my family, JL, and friends for their unwavering support and encouragement, as well as the organizers of the event for giving me this incredible opportunity.”
This achievement not only reflects Zonio’s artistic talent but also highlights the importance of encouragement and support in pursuing one’s passions.
