KALIBO MUNICIPAL ATHLETIC MEET 2024: LOCAL SWIMMERS UNSTOPPABLE IN THE WATER
Kalibo, Aklan – The recently concluded Kalibo Municipal Athletic Meet 2024, held at the Aklan Sports Complex in Calangcang, Makato, Aklan, witnessed outstanding performances from junior swimmers.
The top performers are the Grade 9-Archimedes student Josh Lee B. Matorres, who dominated the competition, clinching multiple gold medals. Christine Jois V. Tan from Grade 8-Galileo also impressed with her gold medal wins. Janelle Adellaine B. De Leon from Grade 7-Einstein showcased remarkable talent and determination as she won gold, silver, and bronze medals.
These young athletes, now Provincial Meet Qualifiers, demonstrated exceptional skills and perseverance. Their coach, Ma’am Unie Amalou T. Vega, provided invaluable guidance, while their parents offered unwavering support.
