QUEEN OF AKLAN 2024 TALENT SHOW DAZZLES WITH TALENT AND ADVOCACY
It was a night of talent, passion, and purpose as the Queen of Aklan 2024 candidates took the stage, blending entertainment with a powerful message of support for the fight against HIV and AIDS.
Last night at the NVC CSQ Gymnasium, the Queen of Aklan 2024 talent competition captivated audiences with a showcase of diverse performances. From energetic folk dances to moving interpretative pieces, the contestants offered a night filled with entertainment, emotion, and amusement.
The top three standout performers of the evening were Rexy Ortega from the Municipality of Libacao, who impressed with a traditional folk dance, Bonbon Matorres from Kalibo, also showcasing a folk dance, and Nikkay Matangga from Numancia, who delivered a interpretative dance.
This year’s Queen of Aklan is dedicated to raising awareness and showing support for people living with HIV, while also commemorating those who have lost their lives to AIDS-related illnesses. The talent competition highlighted this advocacy, reminding the audience of the importance of empathy, education, and action in the ongoing battle against HIV and AIDS.
