Mr. Jorge Tolores, the President of the Junior Jaycees of the Philippines (JJC) NVC, has been elected as the JJC’s Area Vice President for Visayas for the fiscal year 2024-2025.
Established in 1975, the Junior Jaycees Organization serves as the younger counterpart to the Jaycees, dedicated to developing its members and equipping them with the necessary skills to create positive change.
Despite the unexpected offer, Tolores accepted the position without hesitation. He views this role as an opportunity for his vision of reviving and establishing new chapters in Western Visayas.
“As an NVCian, trained by JCI Aklan Kalantiao and 2023 Regional Vice President, JCI Philippines, Allan Angelo Quimpo, my plan is to revive the chapters in Iloilo and create more chapters in Western Visayas with the help of JCI Western Visayas,” Tolores said.
Tolores’ two years of being part of the organization has led him to learn everything and come up with the objectives of abiding by the JCI mission, vision, and values. Among his plans is to provide more webinars aimed at improving the leadership skills of Junior Jaycees nationwide.
“Planning for more sustainable projects and, of course, spreading the love,” he added, reflecting his broader vision for the organization.
