The Basic Education Department, Preschool and Elementary Level, conducted a Graduation and Recognition Day at the NVC CSQ Gym on June 20, 2024.
This wonderful occasion was filled with sincere speeches, humble parents, and happy pupils ready to take one step higher on the ladder of their educational journey.
The event began with a warm welcome from Aileen Frances Q. Hernandez, M.Ed., Principal of Preschool and Elementary. “This is a starting line in disguise,” she said, emphasizing the potential and future of each graduating pupil. She also congratulated the pupils on their achievements.
The highlight of the event was the speech of the esteemed guest speaker, Atty. Stephanie Erica Louise P. Ricamonte. Her speech was both motivational and inspirational, based on her own experiences and achievements. She encouraged the graduates to pursue their dreams and seize the opportunities that came their way. Her words left an impact, instilling a sense of ambition in the graduates.
During the awarding segment of the ceremony, the pupils’ hard work and outstanding achievements were recognized. The proud smiles of parents, and especially the awardees, emphasized the dedication that led to their success.
The heartfelt speech from the valedictorian, Angelica Marie F. Liggayu, was a reflection on the years spent together with her teachers and classmates, highlighting how their friendship and character were strengthened. She also quoted Walt Disney’s famous words, “If we have the courage to pursue them, all our dreams can come true.” Liggayu thanked her parents, teachers, and classmates for their unwavering support and encouragement.
The ceremony was not just a celebration of academic achievements but also a recognition of the personal growth and development of each pupil and graduate. As the graduates threw their caps into the air, the sky was filled with hopes, dreams, and a bright future for them all.
