Northwestern Visayan Colleges successfully held an event at the NVC CSQ Gymnasium with the theme โPAGPASIDUNGOG: A Recognition of Student Academic and Leadership Excellenceโ to celebrate and acknowledge the outstanding leadership, performances, efforts, hard work, and sacrifices of students during the academic years 2022-2023 and 2023-2024.
The masters of ceremonies, Mr. Louis Candari and Ms. Frisha Ismael from Team Educators, greeted the students, faculty, and guests with high spirits before proceeding to the preliminaries. Afterwards, Mr. Loyd T. Francisco, Officer-in-Charge of the Office of Student Affairs, acknowledged the presence of the guests, followed by the reading of the rationale for the Leadership Awards by Mr. Allan Angelo Quimpo, President of Northwestern Visayan Colleges and SSC Adviser.
Shortly thereafter, the distribution of awards began with Mr. Loyd T. Francisco acknowledging the excellence of NVCโs student organizations and Mr. Allan Angelo Quimpo recognizing the outstanding performances and efforts of the Supreme Student Council.
Of course, the most anticipated segment that made the students gather with their parents was the Deanโs List Awards presented by the deans of every department and the Presidentโs List Awards acknowledged by NVCโs President. To close the event, NVCโs President, Mr. Angelo Quimpo, delivered his heartwarming and motivating message, followed by his closing remarks.
