In a concerted effort to address pressing environmental concerns and promote sustainable practices, PhilinCon and Angat Buhay co-organizes an Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Conference focused on the Northwest Panay Peninsula Natural Park, a vital rainforest and biodiversity hub in the Philippines.
PhilinCon, Angat Buhay, and with support from Frankie’s, the conference has garnered widespread support from both civil society and institutional partners. Among the key collaborators are Northwestern Visayan Colleges (NVC), Aklan Trekkers (AT), and the Alpha Team Organization.
The Northwest Panay Peninsula Natural Park, occupying the Visayas region of the Philippines, is the home of a stunning biodiversity which can be found nowhere else else in the world. On the other hand, similar to the other natural areas globally, it confronts dangers such as deforestation, diminishing habitats, and unwise practices.
The ESG Conference is a landmark that describes the sustainable development journey and environmental conservation campaign of the Philippines. As long as these dedicated volunteers and non-governmental organizations will continue pushing for it, the Northwest Panay Peninsula Natural Park will certainly grow in its next years.
