Successful Voter Education and Registration Fair in Aklan

We’re thrilled to share the amazing outcome of the Voter Education and Registration Fair, a joint effort by the Northwestern Visayan Colleges (NVC) and the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) in Aklan province!

Led by President Allan Angelo L. Quimpo, the event kicked off with a warm welcome, setting the tone for an enlightening and empowering gathering. Atty. George Erwin M. Garcia, Chairman of COMELEC, graced us with his presence as our esteemed guest speaker, sharing invaluable insights and encouragement. To quote him “Kailangan namin ng tulong ng lahat dahil sa isang boto na meron ang isang Pilipino ay isang boto para sa kinabukasan ng bansa”. Special thanks to Ms. Emmalyn S. Masongsong, Information Officer IV, whose inspiring lecture left participants motivated and well-informed about the importance of voter registration and exercising our right to suffrage. And let’s not overlook the impactful closing remarks by Atty. Christian S. Itulid, Election Officer IV of Kalibo, concluding the event on a high note and leaving us all driven to effect change.

The fair witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and organizations across Aklan, showcasing a shared dedication to civic engagement and democratic involvement. Together, we tirelessly promoted education and empowerment among our youth, emphasizing the significance of voter registration and active participation in the democratic process.

The event was further enriched by captivating performances from the talented artists of NVC, ensuring an unforgettable experience for all attendees.The NVC Marketing team, led by Mr. Josh Cuenca in collaboration with COMELEC have given away special prizes for attendees who participated during the Open Forum.
