Northwestern Visayan Colleges convened a stakeholders meeting at the Carmen Hotel in Kalibo, Aklan last February 3, 2024. The event was led by Karla Soguilon, compliance specialist, and Dr. Rebecca T. Barrios, the Vice President of Academic Affairs, who spearheaded the initiative to bring together key figures from various industries.

Northwestern Visayan Colleges is on a mission to enhance its educational offerings, ensuring its students are well-prepared for the demands of the industry. The meeting aimed to bring together important key figures in the school community to discuss crucial matters concerning the institution’s future. The objective of the NVC Stakeholders meeting is to gather input and feedback regarding the industry’s requirements, with the aim of equipping NVC students to be well-prepared for the work force.

One of the goals of the meeting is to gather information and important feedback from the industry because NVC aims to enhance its operations. NVC’s top priority is improvement and achieving the goal that the industry not only requires intelligence from students but also promotes good attitude and professionalism among them. The meeting was also held to evaluate the curriculum and course syllabus of each department.
