NVCians Secure Silver, Bronze Medals in Arnis Event
Arnis, a contemporary stick-fighting sport with a focus on self-defense, not only enhances hand-eye coordination but also cultivates discipline and overall physical coordination. Delving into the core attributes required to excel in this sport raises the question: what essential skills pave the way to mastery?
Kneeza A. Reprado and Clynel I. Gregorio have unlocked the secret, emphasizing the pivotal role of heightened awareness encompassing both the mind and body. These two accomplished cadets from NVC have clinched two prestigious medals in the Arnis Event during the week-long Philippine ROTC games. Their impressive achievements stand as a testament to their dedication and the guidance of their resolute and dynamic coach, MSgt. Alejandro P. Arca Jr., PA (Res).
Reprado and Gregorio expressed their astonishment at their victory, as they had not harbored any lofty expectations due to the relatively brief duration of their training. “I believe that our triumph stems from unwavering perseverance and self-determination,” remarked Reprado.
These hard-earned bronze and silver medals serve as emblematic accolades, showcasing that NVCians excel not only in academics but also on the sports arena.
